Point Pleasant Panthers Youth Cheerleading is dedicated to providing the greatest

cheerleading experience for all athletes regardless of age and ability. We aim to build

successful athletes with confidence and new skills, foster a passion for cheerleading and

make lifelong friends in a fun and rewarding environment in our local community!

 

Flag Cheerleading Program

Ages 4-6 (Age by July 1st) * Must be entering Kindergarten Fall 2026.

Our Flag Cheerleading team cheers on our Panther Flag Football team locally, learn the basics of

cheerleading and exposition at the NJAYC Flag Cheerleading Expo in October!

​

● 2-weeks of Game-Day practices starting in mid July 2026

● Practices 1x a week August - Expo in October

● Cheers at Flag football games 1x a week (typically Wednesday evenings, occasionally Monday)

● Exhibitions a competition-cheer style routine at NJAYC Flag Expo in October TBD, 2026

 

Included in Flag Registration Fee:

● Game-Day Uniform; Shell Top & Skirt (returned at end of the season) and Game Day Bow (to keep)

● One 2026 practice shirt, Game-Day breast cancer bow and pink socks (to keep)

● Routine music, gym fees and exposition performance music

Game-Day Cheer Program (Non-Competitive)

Ages 7-14 (Age by July 1st)

 

Our Game Day Cheerleading Teams cheer on our Panther Tackle Football teams all around the

Jersey Shore!

​

● 2-weeks of Game-Day practices starting mid July 2026

● Practices 1x a week in August (could be 2x’s)

● Cheers at Panthers AYF Tackle Football Games on Saturday evenings or Sunday (home and away) from August-November including Play-Offs and Championship Games

 

Included in Game-Day Registration Fee:

● Game-Day Uniform; Shell Top & Skirt (returned at end of the season) and Game-Day Bow (to keep)

● One 2026 practice shirt, Game-Day breast cancer bow and pink socks (to keep)

● Halftime music

 

Competitive Cheer Program

Ages 7-14 (Age by July 1st)

Our Competitive Cheer Teams compete at some of the most prestigious events on the recreational

level with teams from all over the region and country!

​

● Part of both the Game-Day AND Competition Cheer Teams

● 2 weeks of Game-Day practices starting mid July 2026

● Practices 3x weekly, practices may be added as needed.

● Cheers at Panthers AYF Football Games on Saturday evenings or Sundays (home and away)

from August-November including Play-Offs and Championship Games

● Competes at:

○ Jersey Shore Sectional Competition (October 2026 TBA)

○ Big East Regional Competition (November 2026 TBA)

○ AYC National Championship Competition in Orlando, FL (December 2026) only if a bid is received at Regionals (places top 3)

○ AYC Globals in Atlantic City, NJ (Feb 2027 TBD) only if the team places top 3 at Nationals

● If the team makes it to Nationals in Florida and Globals in AC, it is mandatory to attend.

Included in Competition Cheer Registration Fee:

● Game-Day Uniform; Shell Top & Skirt (returned at end of the season) and Game-Day Bow (to

keep)

● One 2025 practice shirt, Game-day breast cancer bow and pink socks (to keep)

● Competition Uniform Body suit & skirt (returned at the end of the season)

● Comp Routine Music, Choreography fees, Competition fees, Gym fees

● Misc Out of Pocket Costs TBD Estimated $125-$175.00 per athlete: Comp bow, makeup, comp photos etc.
